Good Morning Beaver Parents!
The Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony is today. We are meeting at Firehall No. 3 at 10:15.
Everyone is to wear a poppy, please, to show your respect for the soldiers who fought, who died, who survived, and who give service today around the world on behalf of Canada. Remembrance Day is a national holiday intended to allow people to attend ceremonies in their communities.
Everyone is encouraged to attend this important community ceremony. If you did not sign up, you can still attend.
Parents, after you drop off your child you can watch the parade from Nelson street and proceed to the Cenotaph to attend.
We had copies of the map out but in case you have lost yours, here it is.
This event is rain or shine and is outdoors for everyone, including veterans in their 80s who attend this event to remember their fallen comrades.
Parents will pick up their children at the cenotaph after the service.
See you all there,
