An indoor sleepover event with Burnaby Area Beaver Scouts!

Youth will enjoy activity stations on a circus theme, have a snack and watch a movie.

Please note: deadline for registration online is Wednesday March 6. Because of your fundraising efforts, the event cost for your beavers is reduced from $20 to $10.

Offers of Service from Older Scouting Youth will be considered.

All to have eaten dinner and ALL dietary requirements are to be sent in advance as there will be a bedtime snack and a small breakfast snack.

As always, NO outside food permitted at this event due to many complex allergies of our youth.

The pickup time is FIRM. All youth must be collected between 6:45 and 7:00am

REMINDER & how to get there – Winter Fun Day (Feb 24, 1:00pm – 4:00pm)

Hi Everyone:

Use the Left-hand lane when driving and advise Mount Seymour Traffic Control that you are attending a scouting event at the Group Campsite. Otherwise you will get suck in ski traffic.

Group Campsite – Entrance located at Parking Lot#1. After passing the large radio towers parking lot entrance is on your right at the hairpin turn (below ski resort). Drive to very back of parking lot for pathway. We should have a sign.

Youth attending MUST come appropriately equipped for multiple hours outside in the cold and snow.

Insulated winter boots

snow pants

a winter coat

snowproof winter mittens/gloves (NOT mini-gloves)

toque/warm hat

Layers to stay warm and dry

Backpack: water bottle, extra mitts/socks, travel mug

As always, stay watchful when you come into the parking lot as there will be a lot of kids. Make sure you sign in your child with our group before you leave.

An exciting Winter Fun day with Burnaby Area Beaver Scouts. Learn some outdoor adventure skills and play games.

The official cost of the event is $10 per youth. Because of everyone’s fundraising efforts this event is subsidized by our group and the cost is only $5.00 per youth.

Youth attending MUST come appropriately equipped for multiple hours outside in the cold and snow. Insulated winter boots, snow pants, a winter coat, snowproof winter mittens/gloves (NOT mini-gloves), toque/warm hat. Water bottles are also essential. For safety reasons, youth that are not dressed appropriately will be sent home.
