June 3 Skills Camp (registration complete) for older, independent beavers. We are working on Scoutcraft, Camping, and Trail Skills. This camp is youth-led by older Scouts and Venturers from 1st Centre Lake.
White Tails’ Toy Drive: The White Tails’ community service project is a toy shelf for a womens’ shelter. We intend to fill it with toys before donating it. Please look for 1 or 2 clean mid-size toys for boys and girls between toddler age and 7 years and bring them to our group by June 15.
June 10 Bottle Drive – If you have any time at all to help at this bottle drive, please do.
June 15 Swim-Up Ceremony – This is a ceremony event that acknowledges the progress Beavers have made through the year.
June 17 Stave Lake Group Camp – Camp at Stave Lake, registration deadline is June 8. Cost $25 for 1 night, $40 for 2 (for beavers attending with a sibling).
June 20 Going Up Ceremony – All sections celebrate youth moving up to other sections. Top Section Awards will be presented at this ceremony as well. Everyone is encouraged to attend this special Tuesday meeting.
June 22 Good-Bye Picnic – We will meet at central park and play some games.
June 28 – Wednesday Night Kayaking for White Tails, Cubs and Scouts.
