Burnaby 1st Southwest Beaver Colony

Hi Everyone!

This is a reminder that there IS a Bottle Drive tomorrow! Parent participation is essential at this event! Many of you have already signed up to help but it is not too late to join us. Please come as early as you can to help out! We really need drivers in the morning to pick up the bottles for those who are sorting.

The location of Bottle Drive is the South Burnaby United Church Hall Parking Lot. (Our meeting place). Set up and driving starts at 10AM.

It’s a winter bottle drive and the more of you that come out the quicker we can get this important fundraiser done! Dress for winter weather and wear boots with good traction if you have them! We will be setting up shelters and heaters for the sorters! We will also use the hall as a warming station and have hot chocolate available.

Upcoming: Area Sleepover!
We have an exciting Area Sleepover coming up on January 21st! There may be up to 100 Beaver Scouts at this very safe and fun indoor sleepover. There will be games, a movie, snack and breakfast. Details are attached.

The deadline for signing up is Monday January 9. Please use the attached spreadsheet to sign up your Beaver Scout. If you have trouble with the spreadsheet, please EMAIL ME and I will put your name in to make sure you have a spot reserved.

Because of Fundraising Activities you and your Beaver have done, the cost of this event is reduced for 1SW members. The Fee for this sleepover is $10 per beaver.
