Hi everyone

If you are coming today to Mount Seymour:

This event is outside and active.
Dress in warm layers and make sure you include: hats, mittens, snow pants, snow boots, warm jacket
Be waterproof
Ensure your beaver brings a water bottle he or she can carry
Remind your beaver to bring his emergency kit (always bring on outdoor adventures).

If you as a parent are staying on the mountain,
please dress appropriately.

HI Beaver Families!

Reminder that we do NOT have beaver scouts this thursday because we are having the Baden Powell Dinner on TUESDAY.

Winter Fun Day – Sunday February 26 1-3pm

Beavers want to work on some of their winter skills towards their Winter Skills 1 Badge.

We are having a Burnaby Area winter day – there may be rain, there may be snow. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to teach your child to check the weather forecast for Mount Seymour and to work together to choose appropriate clothing. Remember to wear layers to stay warm and ensure outer layer is both insulated and waterproof. Mittens and Hats are essential. Insulated boots and warm socks are essential.

Here is the information sheet and sign-up sheet for the Winter Fun afternoon on Mount Seymour scheduled for THIS SUNDAY February 26. If you have trouble with the spreadsheet please just email me to say if you are coming or not.

We encourage you to carpool if possible!
