Hi Beaver Families!

Here is the road closure map in case you did not download it from Scoutstracker. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking.

We are meeting at the Firehall No. 3 (Marlborough @ Bennett) by 10:15. The parade leaves at 10:30 so you must be on time!

After the ceremony, you will meet your Beaver at the Cenotaph at Bonsor Park (this is at Central and Imperial). We will be standing waiting for you there.

UNIFORMS, NECKERS, HATS and POPPIES are required for this event.
WARM CLOTHES are required. This is outdoors for the entire time.

There is NO access to a bathroom. Your Beaver MUST potty before arriving.

In the past, we have had veterans notice and compliment us on being respectful, quiet and polite during the ceremony.

The salmon have returned to Stoney Creek and if we are lucky we will see some in the water on our walk on Sunday morning.

Please EMAIL ME BACK if you are coming so that we don’t leave without you!

Here are the details for our Sunday Morning Walk!

Event Date: Sunday October 29, 2017

Event Meeting Place: Stoney Creek Elementary School Parking Lot (2740 Beaverbrook Crescent, Burnaby, BC V3J 7B6)

Time of Meeting: 10:30am -11:30am

This is a drop-off event but families are welcome to join us – this is a flat, easy gravel path along the creek and it is a 1.4 km trail.

Keep your eyes out for Salmon in the water!

What does a Beaver Scout need to bring?

2. Dress for the Weather
3. Grippy footwear
4. Backpack with a water bottle & a healthy snack with no nuts
