Hi Beaver Parents!

Well this good weather is continuing so we are going to meet at:

the little Playground by the Lower Pond
Central Park, Burnaby

Entrance to the parking lot is from IMPERIAL.
6:30pm (6:10 if you want to talk badges or other matters with me)
Pick Up your child at the same location at 7:30pm.

Please make sure your child brings a backpack they can carry on their own, containing a water bottle and first aid for preparedness.

Hi Beaver Families!

We will have an off-site meeting tomorrow. We will be meeting at the playground at Byrne Creek tomorrow for a short hike. The meeting location is: Ron McLean Park, 7820 Hedley Avenue, Burnaby.

Please arrive on time (by 630) as we expect the hike to take 1 hour.

Beavers should

Have gone toilet before arrival

Pack a small backpack for the walk to hold their water bottle, first aid/survival kit if they have one.
Wear weather appropriate clothing and wear their uniforms
Wear sturdy footwear – if it has rained earlier in the day some parts of the walk may be soggy.

**Trail Skill Badge Work includes: packing your own bag for a day hike, knowing what makes a healthy snack for a day hike, and dressing themselves for a hike appropriately for the weather, knowing the main distress signals.** I will be at the park 20 minutes early to go over Trail Skills Badge Work with any interested youth.
